Cost of protest is $50.00, to be given to the protested tractor if found legal.
Protested tractor is confined to area next to scales and will remain there until pull is completed. Protested tractor will be allowed to pull in classes entered. Protested tractor will be inspected in full view of protester and/or protest committee.
Fine is $50.00 if found illegal, to be retained by the association.
Protested tractor, if fined, will not be allowed to pull until fine is paid.
Protested tractor may pull in scheduled classes that day, subject to inspection at end of pull. Illegal tractor will be disqualified and lose prize money and all season points.
Protest is limited to checking bore and stroke, and/or the use of illegal carburetors, intake manifolds, and adaptors, not natural aspirated. No forced air into carburetor allowed.
Burden of proof of legality is the owner/driver's responsibility.
There must be a minimum of three protest officials present to officiate protest. If there are less than three present, the protest members present will gather measurements and meet with all protest members within the next week to determine legal or illegal status. Protest tractor owner will be notified that week of the protest results.
